Eloise’s Nutritional Philosophy
There are as many diets on the planet as there are people, however everyone can benefit from eating more nutrient-rich, unprocessed, non-GMO, organic food.  Everyone is unique and has different nutritional requirements that can vary depending on where they live and seasonal changes.

Mapping Your Unique Metabolic Nature

Your body chemistry, the way you metabolize the food you eat, and your nutrient requirements are unique to you.  As humans, we are all similar in that we each have a physical body, however we don’t all look alike, think alike, or metabolize our food alike.  Just as there are no two identical snowflakes, there are no two identical humans.  How your body metabolizes macro-foods (proteins, fats and carbohydrates) and then how these metabolized nutrients affect your unique metabolic nature or infrastructure is part of your individuality.  This information is essential to discovering your metabolic make-up, which ultimately leads to a specific nutritional program that is tailored to fit your unique body.

There are two metabolic cycles that produce ATP fuel or energy for your body.  The glycolysis cycle produces approximately 34% ATP cellular fuel, and the citric acid cycle which produces 66% cellular fuel.  For optimum metabolic functioning, your body needs to be supplied with the correct ratios of macro-foods.  Additional raw materials, including vitamins, minerals, enzymes and trace elements support delicately balanced systems while enhancing biochemical and metabolic operation.  Foods and nutrients are multi-functional on different levels.  For example, vitamin C performs different jobs depending on whether the cell, the tissues, or the systems are utilizing it.  Different foods will support some people metabolically, have no effect on another and cause metabolic upheaval in yet another.  One man’s food is another man’s poison.  The key is to take the time to figure out what works for you, and just as important, what doesn’t work for you.

Once you shift your diet to accommodate your metabolic uniqueness, you will naturally increase your self-awareness.  Eating foods that have been determined to fit your metabolic nature, in the correct ratios, will support your mind and body on all levels.   Properly balanced nutrition provides flowing energy, an effortless ideal body weight, an overall feeling of wellbeing, and a renewed zest for life.  Remember, this entire process is about you and assisting you in discovering what makes you tick.  Metabolic tendencies may shift as your body falls into your natural state of homeostasis.  It is important to stay in tune with what is going on internally, shift and tweak what needs to be adjusted along the way, and to periodically retest for metabolic balancing and re-patterning.
